The company was born in 1930 as the exclusive importer of the homonymous Czechoslovakian producer of the first toothbrushes with celluloid handle. After acquiring the brand and the knowhow from the company in Bratislava, Koh-I-Noor began its Italian production in 1950.
The "Jaspe" line of products includes hair brushes, combs tooth brushes and shaving brushes made of cellulose acetate with a tortoise-shell effect. This material is one of the first plastic material used to produce hair brushes combs and tooth brushes , it is a material derived from cotton, warm to the touch and self-polishing.
